Premiere: Shane Eli Asks “Can I Kick It?” (Premiere Listen & Download)

I know everyone's minds are turning to thoughts of egg nog, presents and getting hammered on egg nog while opening presents - or is that just me? - but before the holiday season officially arrives L.A. based producer/rapper/modern day Rennaisance man Shane Eli wanted to drop off an audio stocking stuffer in the form of "Can I Kick It?". Like his previous effort, "Who Am I" is a frenetically paced joint that combines rock samples with impeccable rap lyricism. Merry Christmas motherf**kers.

Oh, and he just barely got it in, but I think we declare "Dr. Conrad Murray, I'm born to kill mics/Mikes" both the best Michael Jackson and best "I kill mics" punchline of the year. (Possible category for next years' RefinedHype Awards?). Keep it locked for more in 2011 as the mothership prepares to drop Shane's upcoming mixalbum, "I Can Do Better". On the real, I've heard the tracks that made the album - some of the dopest shit you're going to hear. That's called building suspense people.
