This Royce da 5’ 9” “Writer’s Block” ft. Eminem Doesn’t Really Feature Eminem (Listen & Download)

Honestly, I have no idea where today went. The last thing I remember I was waking up, and now it's late Friday afternoon and I have to bounce. Man, maybe I shouldn't have spent all that time listening to every important moment from "The Wire". But I just couldn't sign off without providing RefinedHype Nation with two major tracks to kick off their weekend, the the second being Royce da 5'9" and Eminem's new track, "Writer's Block". (The first was Jay-Z and Sade's new track.)

Following up on the dopeness that was "Echo", this is Royce at his insanely finest. Nickel can be hit or miss but those G-Unit references at the beginning of his verse are incredible ("I'm about to fall in with a Young Buck while I attempt to fuck the Game up"). Bad news those, Em doesn't so more than mumble on the outro and contribute a forgettable hook. So yeah, this was a bit of a lyrical cocktease, so to speak.

Allegedly this will be off Royce's debut album on Shady Records, we shall see.

1stround-ko	Royce The 5'9" is the industry's ninja. Everybody sleeps on him... whenever I see Royce making gues appearances on other people's albums, I am 99% likely to buy it.

Selorm	This is cool. Royce is very lyrical, but as a song, this doesn't work for me. The hook is cool, but I don't like the bridge. The verses really have nothing to do with the hook.
