Lil Wayne Drops Not -As-Good Version of Em’s “Stan” With “Dear Anne” (Listen & Download)

Just a couple hours after the not really a leak "Nightmares of the Bottom" hit our pages we get an actual leak from Weezy F (and the F stand for Fantastico) Baby in the form of "Dear Anne", a track that's an obvious homage to Eminem's classic "Stan". Let the Eminem vs. Wayne comparisons begin!

Of course Wayne it's anywhere near the storyteller Mr. Mathers is, I have to say I'm impressed by this. Weezy could easily just have done pop bottles sequels but instead he chose to challenge himself to tackle a truly lyrical classic. Then again, this got left on the cutting room floor from "Carter IV", so if the album turns out to be back-to-back Gucci Mane features I reserve the right to change my mind. Oh, and I'm sure you couldn't guess based on the minimal feel, but Swizz Beatz actually produced this.
