Do I Have to Listen to This Lil Wayne x Rick Ross “9 Piece Remix)? (Listen & Download)

I'm completely serious when I say that Rick Ross' "9 Piece" is one of my favorite ignorant bangers to drop in the last few months (besides this of course), so I was legitimately stoked to hear what Lil Wayne would do to it on the remix. The answer? Not a whole lot. In fact, I think I'm gonna pretend like it never happened - kind of like "Rocky V".

"I leave em dead in the living room. Get it? Dead in the living room." Yeah Weezy, I did get it. It was horrible. In related news, you left em cold with your heater and another thing that's the opposite of the other thing. Yawn. And congrats, you're officially the 10,000th rapper to use that "Kis (keys) like Ray Charles" line.

I don't think I even have to do the "which was better, the original or the remix" thing. Hell, T.I. was far better on the original, even if he did have a No F**king Sense line, and even the original remix (if that makes any sense) was far better. Come on Weezy, you're better than that.

iMg	I'd like Lil Wayne to make, I don't know, a NEW song. Since 6'7 he's either done crappy guest verses or remixes, and If I Die Today is I'm Not A Star. All I'm saying is, I want new music from Lil Wayne, not phoned in remixes or remakes.

XuUP17	@ iMg- Maybe this drought in Wayne music represents a step up in quality. Every rapper, including J. Cole (the epitomy of quality right now), drops a doo doo guest verse (S&M), but Wayne's choice not to drop a mixtape as soon as he was released shows promise in my eyes.

Nathan S.	^ It makes me uneasy about Lil Wayne's future. I liked 6'7', and I actually like it a little more everytime I hear it, but other than that it's been nothing to speak of. He's either building up a catalog of classic music, or he's in a rap slump. I'm not sure there's an in between.
