J-Lo Recruits Weezy for “I’m Into You”, Desperate Attempt to Stay Relevant (Listen & Download)

(Remember how cake J-Lo used to be?)

In the music industry if you step away from the game for a minute, let alone a few years, it's almost impossible to regain your former star status. Just ask Dr. Dre....or Jennifer Lopez. Once unarguably one of the most famous people on the plant, J Lo took some time of from music at the peak of her fame, and hasn't had a hit since 2003 (yep, it's been that long). What's worse, everything she does now sounds like an mom trying to wear the same clothes as her teenage daughter, including her new single, "I'm Into You" featuring none other than his royal Weezyness.

And for those about to complain that this is a rap site, in a weird way this is actually a huge moment for hip-hop. Think about it, a pop star who was once, and to some degree still is, one of the biggest stars in the world is going to Weezy to revive her career. If you had told me ten years ago that J Lo would one day desperately need Wayne's star power I would have said you were crazy. Oh yeah, speaking of which, Wayne's verse mediocre at best, but he did have to aim for a mainstream audience. Shrug.
