Rapsody, Mac Miller, The Cool Kids & Childish Gambino Make Beautiful Hip-Hop Posted by Nathan S. on 08/27/12 | Filed under Mac Miller, Childish Gambino, The Cool Kids, Rapsody

I've been listening to Rapsody's upcoming album, "The Idea of Beautiful" for a few days now (advance copy, I'm kind of a big deal) and I'm happy to report that it's exactly as dope you you're hoping. (Or doper than you expect if you don't know enough about Rapsody to expect dopeness.).

It's an album with a vision, a vision that could have only come from Rapsody, a rarity in an age when rappers all end up sounding alike as they search for that "hit". Even better, she's strong enough to grab some big names for "The Idea of Beautiful" without worrying that she'll be overshadowed on her own shit.

So in order to get the people properly hyped for the album release tomorrow, she's unveiled the big names in the form of "Roundtable Discussion", featuring Mac Miller and The Cool Kids, and "Beautiful Music", featuring Childish Gambino. Oh fucks yeah, I can't wait to drop this shit on the mothership tomorrow. Until then, enjoy....

(Insider info: If the stars align someone gets their verse in on time, there will be an even bigger name on "The Idea of Beautiful".)
