Raekwon Cuts Like Hot “Butter Knives” (Listen & Download)

There's a very, very small handful of rappers who could do a song with a title like "Butter Knives" and make it completely vicious, and Raekwon is at the top of that list. In my dreams Ghostface would have jumped on this as well, but The Chef alone is more than enough to transform Bronze Nazareth classic Wu-Tang styled beat into one of the more purely dope tracks I've heard in a minute. I'd really like to see how far we can push my whole "Rae makes everything sound hardcore" theory. I bet we could get him to read Charles Dickens over a beat like this and it'd be a guaranteed head-nodder.

Despite what other interweb sources have reported, Rae's people say that this one won't appear on the upcoming "Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang" album, dropping in 2011, but is a good indication of the kind of music that will be on the project. Oh fucks yeah.
