Nicki Minaj & 2 Chainz Have No Respect For Our Hearing On “Beez In The Trap” (Listen)

I really feel like Nicki Minaj's latest release "Beez In The Trap," which happens to feature 2 Chainz, had the ability to be an alright song but somehow took a turn for the worst thanks to the head-aching beat and Nicki Minaj's desire to rap in her eight-year-old voice. It's to the point where I almost feel like Nicki uses the whole rapping in various accents thing as a crutch. Like, "I know this verse is awful and all but maybe if I rap it in an Australian accent people will be too distracted to notice how sucky it is." Also, I think it's safe to say that artists are only recruiting 2 Chainz for their songs because it's the cool thing to do. Because with as many songs as 2 Chainz is featured on you think he'd be the 2012 Rakim or something.

And does anyone else find it a little ironic that the title of the song is "Beez In The Trap?" Especially considering Nicki's ongoing and somewhat hilarious feud with Lil Kim. It's definitely a good thing though, I don't think I could stand another Lil Kim diss record.
