New Cool Kids Leaks! “Freak City” x “Fishing Lessons” x “Flying Kites” (Listen & Download)

I'm not saying you have to pull a Weezy in '08 and release a new song a day, but the truth is that in this business, if you don't capitalize on momentum, if the general public isn't hearing your voice bump through their heaphones on the regular, you'll be forgotten about quicker than a lost sock. Point is, almost two years ago The Cool Kids broke onto the scene and got everyone excited about their retro 80s soaked sound, and since then we've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for an album from Chuck Inglish and Mike Rocks. The wait doesn't look like it will end anytime soon, but today the duo did let go of a grip of new material from their upcoming mixtape "Tacklebox": "Freak City", "Fishing Lessons" and "Flying Kites". Throw on some fat laces and a gold chain and enjoy.

"Tacklebox" (allegedly) drops tonight at 8 p.m. EST. Why anyone would release a project on Memorial Day evening is beyond me, but nothing these rappers do makes any sense.
