Haters Gon’ Hate: Cocaine ‘80s ft. Nas “Chain Glow” (Listen & Download)Posted by Nathan S. on 05/22/12 | Filed under Downloads, Nas, Common, No I.D., Cocaine 80s |
Well then. Looks like maybe this whole Cocaine '80s thing might be more than just Common, James Fauntleroy, No I.D. and Makeba Riddick releasing random tracks when they feel like it. Do you really drop a new Nas track just for the fucks of it? There has to be something larger in the works, right? An album?
Or maybe the Cocaine crew is sitting on so much dope shit they really are cool with leaking something like "Chain Glow" just for kicks. I guess we'll just have to wait and see - in the meantime let's not lose site of what we've got here: it's essentially a new Nas cut featuring a nice No I.D. beat and some pretty damn good singing. Plus bonus points for the art work.
So while I wish this had a Common verse, I can't be greedy. It's hard to be mad at something like this. So I guess a thanks is in order...thanks gentlemen. I'll keep taking the free dope music as long as you're putting it out.
