Mick Boogie and The Canz Present “The Slow Rise Project” (Listen & Download)

The music industry is littered with the remains of those whose rise to fame was too fast and sudden for them to handle (Britney Spears, DMX, ), but The Canz are wisely taking the steady approach to hip-hop fame on their new project "The Slow Rise Project." Produced in collaboration with the apparently inexhaustible Mick Boogie, "Slow Rise" is a musically adventurous work; exactly what you'd expect from a duo who grew up in Ghana and now call Georgia home.

The Canz, made up of brothers Prominent and Foster, have used this project to depicts their struggle as they strive to rise to the top of the hip-hop industry. This is the first of "The Slow Rise" series and all the following projects will also depict the progression of their journey.
