Lloyd Drops Free “The Young Goldie EP” ft. Drake, Nicki Minaj and More (Listen & Download)

There's nothing better than watching a youg artist grow into a full-fledged musical man, and it's been a pleasure to watch Lloyd go from a falsettoed teen heartthrob to a man with a serious, but still fun, artistic vision. Lloyd's reached a new high today with the release of his first post-Murder Inc. project "The Young Goldie EP", a quality crafted work featuring the likes of Lil Wayne, Drake, Bun-B, The Runners, Cool & Dre, Nicki Minaj, J. Holiday, and more.

As far as the project's thematic details, I'll Lloyd speak for himself: “Some of the songs are personal to me. I’m speaking about life experiences, and taking it back to the beginning. We wanted to show people things that they’ve never seen or heard from me before... from the music to the artwork.”

Five years ago I don't think I would have been saying this, but I'm really looking forward to Lloyd's next album, currently set to drop in 2010 (a.k.a. don't hold your breath).
