Lil Wayne’s “We Back Soon” Might Suck, Might Be Dope (Listen, Download & Vote)

It feels like a decade ago, but there was a time way back in the day (2007) when Lil Wayne turned out new music like Lindsay Lohan turns out arrest warrants. We couldn't go a day without a new Weezy track, but post-prison the man's significantly slowed his roll, at least for now, which actually makes new leak "We Back Soon" noteworthy.

So, I think we can all agree that whoever came up with that aggravating high pitch hook should be forced to spend a week listening to nothing but Chet Haze. (It was the worst punishment I could think of). Other than that....I don't know. I think I kind of dig it. That StreetRunner beat is smooth, and while Wayne's certainly not at his peak, he throws down a perfectly decent flow. No, wait, just listened again and it kind of sucks. Damnit, I can't make up my mind. Gonna have to turn things over to RefinedHype Nation:

Shamir	I like his flow but I truly hate the hook. i think the hook may just be an example (reference track) of how the hook should be sung for a hook singer, cuz the highpitched voice isnt even mastereed or mix well but lil wayne verses are mixed well etc

NJ_Static	It could be Dope but the hook was super annoying, but at least its short. ^^Maybe it is unfinished. Still good song almost dope

Randy Mercer	The hook is horrible it's the only thing that makes you question the song's dopeness (no it's not a word) I love the beat and I like Wayne's flow however, his 7lbs reference was weak/good. I'ma say shrug on this one. But it's not wack.
