The Only Good Part of Funkmaster Flex’s 5 Hour Interview: A Dope Kanye x Pusha T Freestyle

I was frankly avoiding listening to Funkmaster Flex's five-hour interview with Kanye West - the man's a DJ legend, but he's not exactly the world's best interviewer - but after undadog4eva asked if I'd listened to it, I realized it was my job, my solemn duty, to listen and let RefinedHype nation know if it's worth their time. In a word, no it's not. I mean, it's not a terrible interview, and Yeezy has a couple nice lines, but we don't learn anything new, or even particularly exciting. So if you've got five hours to kill, maybe you're stuck in an elevator, have at it. If not, don't worry, you're not missing much....

....expect for the dope freestyle Kanye and Pusha-T drop at the end of the interview. Unfortunately Flex, of course, won't just shut up and let them rhyme, but in between his drops some pretty ill lines get spit:

"Strollin up the totem pole, what's my only problem? / Scrollin through my Rolodex, who should bear my toddler?" - Pusha
"What's a black Beatle anyway? A fuckin roach. / I guess that's why they got me sittin in fuckin coach." - Kanye

Oh, and the next time these two freestyle, I'm going to play a new drinking game. It's one shot for every time Pusha yells "Yes!" after a dope line. Who's in?
