Jon Hope Works to Make Progressive Rap on “Work in Progress” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

There's nothing wrong with using rap as an escapist fantasy, we all need to get even a vicarious taste of the good life. The danger is in only listening to fantasy rap. Instead I'd recommend balancing out that luxury rap banging through your headphones with a healthy dose of regular dude rap. You know, rap from dude's who are extraordinarily talented but aren't afraid to talk about their regular lives. Jon Hope is one of those dudes, and his new album "Work in Progress" is one of those albums.

Joining Hope on the guest tip throughout "Work in Progress" are Jeff Nolan, LJC, Rittz, Khalil, Taktix, Candace, Erica Singer, Deron ‘Byngo’ Outland and Alysia Ross. Beats come courtesy of LJC, Taktix, Blaze P., Zulu and Xaviles. It's the revenge of the regular dude.
