Joell Ortiz is a “Project Boy” for Life (Video) Posted by Nathan S. on 03/31/10 | Filed under Top Stories, Videos, Joell Ortiz

Before we even get the track, Joell Ortiz has released the visuals for "Project Boy", the lead single off his "Free Agent" album (available now) and goddamn it's dope. Directed by The ICU, like all of Ortiz's material, the video proves that if you've got a great song and you keep things simple and real, you don't need champagne glasses dripping with diamonds and big booty models...although I won't front, I enjoy the latter.

I don't want to ruin this one with bad jokes, and I'm certainly not qualified to speak on growing up in the projects, so I'm just gonna let this one be. Oh, and the track was producer by DJ Premier, hence the ridiculous beat. Enjoy. (UPDATE: Track dropped last night, download links are below. Who loves ya?)
