So I've got good news and I've got bad news. Bad first - Joell Ortiz' "Free Agent" album has been delayed once again and now won't be dropping until March of next year (maybe....probably). This album is quickly becoming the "Detox" of indie projects, and it's ridiculous considering how much well-deserved hype is surrounding the Bodega Bomber right now. But the good news is that before the album faded back into the ether we got to hear "Finish What You Start", a slow banger featuring Joell's Slaughterhouse homey Royce da 5' 9".

I won't lie, in an ideal world I would have heard some more energy out of these guys - you know, something more like "Hear an Echo". And why we only get a hook, and not a verse, from Royce is beyond me. I can only assume there was some sort of behind the scenes hang up, but on the surface it has to be considered more than a little disappointing .Regardless, I continue to maintain that almost no one's doing it better than Ortiz right now, and if/when "Free Agent" ever drops, I'll be first in line .

djonesofkb	sorry but this is a disapointment the versus are fire no questions bout they got to get more creative with these hooks

tdotraza	What Joell and his people practically need to do is capitalize on the fact Amazon dropped the album early and move up the release date before they loose interest. People are willing to support Joell because of the situation his album is in, kinda like Lupe and the L.A.S.E.R.S. petitions.

Nathan S.	@Set_Gecko As tdot said, it didn't so much "leak" as someone forgot to tell Amazon that the album has been pushed back, so they started selling it Tuesday. Oops. I'm convinced the people running these labels are drunk 90% of the time. It's the only way to explain crazy oversights like that.
