J. Cole Commits “Premeditated Murder” (Listen & Download)

Premeditated murder is the crime of wrongfully causing the death of another human being (also known as murder) after rationally considering the timing or method of doing so, in order to either increase the likelihood of success, or to evade detection or apprehension.

In other words, the future of Roc Nation J. Cole didn't just kill wack emcees on his new track "Premeditated Murder", he thought about it, planned it out, and then executed them. In addition to expertly producing the track himself - I'm digging that dark drum loop - Cole absolutely goes in lyrically on "Murder", touching on his still in-the-works rise to fame. How good are his rhymes here? So good I'm not even going to complain about the elongated pause flow: "Say hello to Ms. Thang, I forgot ya name, she yellow / and even white women want a ni**a....Othello." Goddamn. For all of you who slept through Shakespeare in school and didn't catch the reference, here, go back to school.

While Cole has yet to officially confirm it, everyone's assuming "Premeditated" will appear on his currently untitled and unscheduled debut album, and it sounds like a safe bet. "Who Dat" and now this? This album could be a major, major problem.
