J. Cole Taps Into His Inner Lion On “Return Of Simba” (Listen & Download)

Now you know a song is about to be real serious when it starts off with audio from what is arguably one of the best Disney flicks ever, "The Lion King." I almost thought it was a joke when I heard that the name of J. Cole's new song was "The Return Of Simba." Rappers and "The Lion King?" Always an interesting combination.

J. Cole continues with his seemingly common braggadocious raps, but unlike the past few releases this one is actually worthy of it. And he really goes in a few minutes into the song when he delves into a much quicker, rapid-fire flow. Although "The Return Of Simba" is a great release from J. Cole a lot of his songs are starting to sound alike. I just hope there's a lore more variety musically when his album is finally released.

Also, if J. Cole is Simba would that make Jay-Z Mufasa?
