Now that Election Day is over and the political dust has begun to settle we figured we’d put our own twist on things and come up with a list of political positions and the rapper/Hip Hop mogul who would be best suitable for the job. Check it out.
President – Russell Simmons
In a matter of decades Russell Simmons has gone on to build quite the empire. From Def Jam to Rush Communications Simmons has a proven track record in Hip Hop and would seem like a great fit as the leader of the Hip Hop nation.
Vice President – Jay-Z
If there’s anyone who can work under Russell Simmons and do a darn good job at it it’s Jay-Z. Jay-Z has gone from a rapper straight out of Marcy Projects to a savvy businessman who recently shared the cover of Forbes Magazine with Warren Buffett.
Head of the Department of the Treasury – Diddy

Head of the Department of Defense – 50 Cent
If 50 Cent can survive being shot numerous times and then go on to become one of music’s biggest entrepreneurs then I’m sure our fictitious Hip Hop country will be safe in his hands.
Head of the Department of Justice- T.I.
Sorry, this one was just way too easy. I’m sure T.I. knows a lot about justice these days. I think we can go ahead and assume that after this recent prison sentence T.I. will be well-versed in all things legal.
