Grand Hustle’s Bola on Fall & Winter Fashion In “The ATL”

The first lifestyle piece to ever be included on RefinedHype.com was a fall/winter fashion preview by rappers Webbafied and Senor Kaos. Of course we here at RefinedHype.com couldn’t let this season pass with out getting a woman’s point of view on the trends and must have items for this fall/winter season. So without further ado, RefinedHype proudly presents Grand Hustle artist Bola's take on fall and winter fashion in her ATL hometown.

Artist: Bola

The 411: The First Lady of Grand Hustle, Bola is a rapper, writer, and former member of the group Xtaci. Bola has appeared on mixtapes produced by DJ Drama and she has worked with artists including Young Dro, Yung Joc, and Yung L.A. She currently resides in Atlanta.

Signature Style: “Got a couple signatures: cute, sexy, bossy, and boopish! I do a lot of bustiers and fitted skirts…You can catch me in a lot of dresses while doing shows. I accessorize a lot too, along with flossin’ my chain to give it a lil’ gangsta feel.”

What’s In: “Well, I think a lot of military jackets are in. I love jackets! And many different types of boots are in from thigh highs to ankle boots. [You] just gotta work ‘em with the right outfit!”

What’s Out: “The classic LV [Louis Vuitton] purses are definitely OUT. It’s so much more creative styles coming out! But not too many things [because] I’m a strong believer in style comes from within, so if you rock lumber jack print do it the right way [because there’s] so much of that!”

Must Have Item: “The thigh boot [and] gloves are a must have. I'm doing a lot of blazers for the season to stick with my “Boss Type” feel. I love neat hats and designer glasses too. Gotta have ‘em.”

Popular Trends: “There are trends that are already popular where I’m from. The rocker look is very popular! A bunch of Lil’ Wayne’s walkin’ around!”
