Goodie Mob Proclaim “I’m Set” On Yet Another Rare Release From The Group (Listen & Download) Posted by Danielle Harling on 12/14/12 | Filed under Downloads, Goodie Mob

With a reunion album slated for release sometime in the future, iconic Atlanta foursome Goodie Mob have finally let loose a new record with last night's release of "I'm Set". Since Goodie Mob seems to drop a new record every six months or so there's typically a lot of excitement that comes with the release of anything new from the group and "I'm Set" is no different.

"I'm Set" is certainly the unique record and we're dealing with Goodie Mob here so that's no surprise. Production on the record comes across as sounding like a combination of high school marching band-inspired bass and the score to a James Bond-esque action flick. Lyrically, it's a bit of a free-for-all and it seems that Cee-Lo still hasn't fully given into rapping yet.

While I'm not mad at "I'm Set," I'm still hoping for at least one Goodie Mob record that's reminiscent of their past material.
