Gilbere Forte Grabs Asher Roth & Bun B to Throw on “Black Chukkas (Remix)” (Listen & Download)

I vaguely remember watching the video for Gilbere Forte's "Black Chukkas" well before I really knew who Gilbere Forte was, but in the meantime the Philly native's built quite the aspiring rap star credentials for himself. In fact, he's climbed the ladder enough to grab Asher Roth and Bun B for the remix and it hits harder than a Mayweather sucker punch.

Here's why I'm digging this. First, Asher gets some serious points for making the first rap Jim Plunkett reference I've ever heard. Hells yeah. Second, not only do I love Bun B for being one of the only rapper who can rap just as easily next to Asher as Killa Kyleon, he manages to work in a pretty sick Marty McFly Nikes reference (which means his verse must have been recorded in the last two weeks). Third, well, I won't front, I'm not that excited about Forte's version (sorry man, I'm just not) but still, this is dope.
