Derrick Rose Introduces The Effortlessly Dope “D Rose 3” x Bonus Apparel Collection (Pics)Posted by Danielle Harling on 09/13/12 | Filed under Sneakers, Style, Adidas |
Now that NBA baller Derrick Rose's adiZero 2.5 (which was released back in February) is old news, Rose is ready to bless the sneaker world with yet another one of his collaborations with Adidas. Earlier today and just in time for the chaos that is New York Fashion Week, Rose unveiled the D Rose 3 signature basketball shoe.
The sneaker features two different colorways, black/red and gray/black, and features a new logo that Rose says was inspired by his family, basketball, and his hometown of Chicago.
"The D Rose 3 signature collection is special to me because I worked side-by-side with adidas on everything from materials to fit to colors to make it the best we've done yet," said Rose in a statement. "I love the new logo that calls out the most important things to me: my family, basketball and the city of Chicago."
And for those of you who have ever thought to yourself, "Man, I sure wish I had a fly outfit to match these Derrick Rock kicks," then you're in luck. On top of the D Rose 3, Rose also introduced a new apparel line which will consist of jackets, pants, hats, etc. that will all match the colorway of each sneaker in the collection. Prices for the apparel line will range from $15 to $80 while the D Rose 3 will retail for $160. For those of you eager to get your hands on a pair or two, you can pre-order the D Rose 3 at Adidas.com prior to their release on October 4.
