While the rest of us were watching the Super Bowl last night Curren$y was hard at work releasing his brand new FreEP "Here", a five-track quick hitter that's everything the #JetLife loyalists love and everything the "weed rap" detractors like to detract about. (Note: By "hard at work" I mean Curren$y was high as fuck watching the Super Bowl too.)

Personally, ever since The Alchemist "Covert Coup" project I've been sold on Curren$y. I can only take so much of this super relaxed shit, but he's actually far more lyrical than he gets credit for - I'd take him over Wiz any day of the week. No one's claiming "Here" is the second coming of "The Lost Tapes", but as a Pats fan I could use some music to relax to. Lord knows I've been furious since last night.
