..o.k. After listing to this a couple times today... It is pretty good. Short, only 37 minutes long. Production is on-point. Very professional. But some of the original Big L songs are repeated... None of the songs sound like the original, but the lyrics they grab from the artists' library are limited because they both checked out too soon. But I also think this is a great idea, great gimmick, if you want to call it that. I will look for the past Night Of The Living Dead mixtapes... |

I'd agree with 1stround. No one's claiming this is the greatest mixtape in history, but it's always good to hear Big L/Big Pun, the concept's cool, it's well executed and it's definitely worth a download. Come on people, it's free dope music. Let's show Cookin Soul some love. (Not that you weren't appreciate KO, I'm speaking generally.) |
