Consequence & Asher Roth Won’t Play “Childish Games” (Listen & Download)

Apparently finally done with remixing and re-remixing "Whatever U Want", today one of Chicago's finest, Consequence, let go of some brand new material with some grown man music, "Childish Games". Produced by Mr. Attic, who crafts a darkly jazzy beat, "Childish Games' features some more of the high quality rhymes we've come to expect, and a completely unexpectedly mature guest verse from beloved college partier Asher Roth.

In other words, holy shit. Could Asher be leaving behind the party image that first made him successful but will ultimately trap him (early fame is indeed a childish game)? It's way too early to tell, but if the man can truly start using his talents to make good music I'm all in.

"Childish Games" is off the upcoming project "Cons TV: Movies on Demand", a mixtape designed to build more hype around his "Cons TV" album, which still has no set release date.
