Why Yes, I Would Like to Hear Brother Ali’s “Mourning in America” Album (Stream) Posted by Nathan S. on 09/18/12 | Filed under Brother Ali, Streams, Rhymesayers

Sweet baby jesus I hate it when I read people ranting about Brother Ali preaching. Yo, it's not like Ali's getting played on the radio every hour, like you can't turn on MTV or BET without hearing him. If you're listening to Brother Ali, you sought him out, you clicked on that link. If you don't want to hear the man's music fine, don't listen. That's fine, but let the rest of us enjoy shit like his new album, "Mourning in America & Dreaming in Color".

Produced entirely by Jake One and featuring guest verses from Dr. Cornel West, Choklate & Tone Trezure and Amir Sulaiman, the good folks at Rhymesayers have no opened up the entire album for free stream. And instead of just throwing together a SoundCloud set, they've created a mini-movie. Dopeness.

Enjoy, and if you're feeling properly inspired, you can cop the album here. Preach on Ali, preach on.
