Black Milk Says You’re “Welcome (Gotta Go)” (Listen & Download)

As Detroit producer/rapper/Dilla protege Black Milk gears up to finally-maybe release his long awaited and boldy titled "Album of the Year" we've begin to hear some of the project's top offerings, and so far so dope. Earlier this week I included "How Dare You" in a Daily Re-Up, and today Milk released the the album's first official single in "Welcome (Gotta Go)". With a beat that only true production heads will be able to appreciate and some impressive though not earth shattering rhymes from Milk, "Welcome" is exactly the kind of track that could build some serious buzz around "Album of the Year" when it drops....presumably this year....sometime.

If he really does want to make this the album of the year, he'll have to top my current selection for that honor, Big Boi's "Sir Lucious Left Foot", and frankly I doubt that's going to happen. Anyone else have an album of the year pick?
