Beyonce Belts It Out On “Best Thing I Never Had” (Listen & Download)

Every time Beyonce releases a high-energy, female anthem song it's always followed by one of those super emotional power ballads. That being said her latest release, "Best Thing I Never Had," is precisely what I expected from Bey. The song was written by none other than legendary singer/songwriter Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and is produced by Symbolyc One.

The song is about average for Beyonce. She usually comes a lot harder with the power ballads. I mean the song's written by Babyface so it was already set up to be great. "Best Thing I Never Had" isn't bad, but it's nowhere near as good as a "Dangerously In Love" or "Me, Myself And I." I can definitely picture myself belting this one out in the shower or any other locale with great acoustics if that makes up for anything. Still I think there is still hope for "4" and I can't wait to hear what Beyonce puts out next.

Also, anyone know why the album is called "4?" Is it Beyonce's fourth studio album?
