I'm clearly in a weird mood this week - must be the meth I'm sprinkling on my Cheerios every morning - but as long as I'm listening outside the proverbial box I'd be remiss not to post "Mothership Decatur", the new mixtape from ATLien Aleon Craft.

As those who tuned into his "Stargazing Soundtrack" already know, Aleon's never been afraid to push the boundaries of terrestrial music and on "Mothership Decatur" he's orbiting even higher - at times he sounds like Outkast had a baby with Rick James, if Rick James was a smoker instead of a sniffer. Production comes from SMKA (of course), Sol Messiah, DPMG and Roundtable Kings. If this doesn't get you stoked for his upcoming album "Solar-Hop Chronicles", consider yourself unstokable.
