Shawnna and T-Pain are “Nappy Boy"s (Listen & Download)

Based on musical merit alone I wasn't sure if I was going to post the latest track, "Nappy Boy", from the former first lady of DTP Shawnna, but after a listen I just had too much to say to let this one go. So, without any further do, here we go:

1) I know it's supposed to rep the whole Nappy Boy team, but why isn't this song called "Nappy Girl"? You know, considering she's not a boy. In related news, the Winter Olympics will now take place during the summer.

2) If you've ever seen Shawnna live you know she's one of the most talented emcees alive, which is why I was so stoked about Luda's now-Shawnnaless "Battle of the Sexes" collabo album with her. So what the fuck is she doing blatantly ripping off Nicki Minaj's flow? That's like Peyton Manning altering his mechanics to throw like JaMarcus Russell. Ok, that's an exaggeration, but you get the point.

3) On the real though, this beat is like a Snickers bar. You know it's not good for you, you know it's not that high quality, but motherfu**er it's good, and if you're in the right mood you just can't help yourself.
