Is Kafani’s “Tipsy Texting” the Worst Song of the Year? (Listen & Download)

Kafani Bobby V Charlie Boy OJ da Juiceman Tipsy Texting
Believe me, I get a lot of mediocre and terrible music sent my way, and the vast majority of it gets the immediate delete treatment (hence the "Refined"). But every so often a song appears that's so bad, so excruciating, it transcends it's only atrocity and becomes a must listen. In that spirit I not at all proudly present "Tipsy Texting". As if the title wasn't enough indication, the track is ostensibly by Kafani and features - and I use the word "feature" loosely - Bobby V on the hook and...um....I guess I have to call them verses from Charlie Boy and OJ da Juiceman.

I think we can all agree that "LOL Smiley Face" was the worst song of 2009 (narrowly beating out Ron Browz "Gimme $20"), so it's only appropriate that "Tipsy Texting" is 2010's early front runner. Painful beat? Check. Non-sensical lyrics? Check. Ridiculous topic? Check and check. I'm not going to lie, it's going to be hard to knock "Tipsy Texting" off its number one spot this year.

There's really no way you can understand how bad this track is without listening. Sorry.

My point exactly Nathan. Kafani shoulda learned from the flop that was "Fast (Like a Nascar)". Bobby V. needs to cut down on the commercial stuff and get to doing more soulful R&B like he does on much of his solo work.
Chalie Boy holds his city down (this verse is actually OK), but he shouldn't have signed with Jive (now his album will come out the same day as Detox)..
OJ da Juiceman-No comment (other than they misspelled "Juice" on the single cover-shows ya what professionalism means to them)

Ha, that's incredible! I totally didn't see the mispelling. I'll be calling him OJ da "Jucieman" from here on out.
