Was anyone really calling him “The” Game anyway? Who the fuck goes through the effort of saying an unnecessary preposition in a rapper’s name? Better yet, who includes a preposition in their name in the first place?

So while you could argue that Jayceon’s official move to just “Game” was a success, I’d argue that it was simply him succumbing to reality and admitting the mistake of his original name choice.

It’s like if I issued a press release declaring that from now on I’m to be referred to solely as Nathan S., not The Nathan S.
