It’s a rare follow-up fail! A few weeks ago I reported that Game was holding a ghostwriting contest, the winner of which would get to pen a verse on his upcoming “hit” single. Wait, so I get to write a verse for free, and I’m not credited? Sign me up!!!
Well the results of that contest are in and they’re not pretty. “Pot of Gold” is out, ghostwritten verse and all, and it’s languishing literally at the bottom of the charts (#200) after selling an anemic 11,000 units.
I’d like to view this as proof that God is real and he punishes those who engage in fuckery like ghostwriting contests. Thanks God!
