Don’t you wish there was a way to skip all the awards and Grammy performances and awards you don’t care about and just get to the good shit? Oh wait, there is. It’s called the internet. All you really need to do is flip through our 2011 Grammy coverage and you’ll get everything you care about, and nothing that you don’t, including the night’s most notable performances.

By the way, the Grammy people can get a little touchy about their video, so if any of these die let me know and I’ll try to re-up asap.

1)GOD Rihanna looked hot.
2)B.o.B, Bruno Mars, Janelle Monae was the performance of the night. I'm also really glad they closed with Monae cause I think she's the least known of all of them and she deserves to be up there with them.
3) Dr. Dre sucked all the awesome out of his performance and half of Skylar Grey looked half hot.
4) What had me confused about Cee-Lo's performance wasn't any of the muppets or Cee-Lo's feathers, it was Gwyneth Paltrow. Why was she there?

tdotraza	B.o.B./Bruno/Monae performance was spectacular, just like it should be. Love how they flipped Grenade. Second place would be Cee-Lo and the muppets. That was great too. It's hilarious since when I heard Skylar Grey was going to be on stage, the first thing I thought was "I wonder what she looks like."

@iMg: Cuz Gwyneth Paltrow covered that song on Glee and Cee-Lo apparently loved it.

Cee-Lo's performance defines epic win. Reminds me of that Elton John stint on the Muppets Show.

But hands down, the B.o.B/Bruno Mars/Janelle Monae performance was the best of the night. By FAR.

Does GaGa come out of an EGG?

The Dr. Dre/Eminem/Rihanna/Skylar one was pretty decent. What surprised me was Adam Levine from Maroon 5 on the piano; didn't expect him there.

First off, hilarious from Sonic Flood. I appreciate a man who appreciates puns as much as I do.

Second, I couldn't agree more. The people who didn't take themselves so seriously, who just wanted to have fun (like Cee Lo, Monae, etc.)absolutely killed it, and for the most part folks who wanted to be taken seriously were dissapointing.

On a side note, I've got people saying that Em snuck an F bomb in there, but I can't hear it. Anyone else?

Amazing orchestration for “Nothin on you”! Those strings were exquisite, and alongside Monae, Mars and B.o.B, they honored the R&B scene and made it look good!

That Skylar Grey "half-thing" was a success, now everybody wants to see her full. The half was sexy! Oh, I almost forgot, she sang really well live! I can not say the same for Rihanna though... (and the "what's my name" thing is a poor excuse of a song).

As for Em and Dre... it's sad, but it was just an awkward performance. There was no talent shown, the screaming thing from Em is not something people want to watch on stage and let's face it, "I need a doctor" is just not a good song. It was a depressing moment actually.

matza	as a reminder, skylar greay started her career as holly brook, which is her actual name. she most notably appeared on fort minor's "where'd you go". i suppose she got a different hair color nowadays, but you can still imagine what she looks like.
