I have never really been too into the whole Dipset team. They were like that kid, something about them just rubbed me the wrong way. So, when I saw Dipset had a new single, I went on living my life, but apparently the rest of the world is super excited. See more...

Jim Jones Just Killed The Songs Named After Athletes Trend Thanks To “So Athletic (Mike Vick)”

Posted by Danielle Harling on 10/31/11 |
Filed under Downloads, Jim Jones, Maino

I always wonder how athletes feel when rappers name awful songs after them. Well, I guess I'll just have to ask Michael Vick thanks to this latest release from Maino and Jim Jones. First off, the song starts with an excerpt from The Joker in "The Dark Knight" film. Because that absolutely makes a ton of sense for a song like this. Listen and download...See more...

The Check-In Provides Us With Yet Another Hilarious Interview, This Time With Jim Jones (Video)

Following Converse's "Band Of Ballers" event in New York City The Check-In's Jeff and Eric Rosenthal chopped it up with Jim Jones for a brief, but hilarious interview. And although there was that brief awkward moment when Jeff Rosenthal confused Jim Jones' girlfriend with one of the "Basketball Wives" the interview was still pretty entertaining. Jim Jones’ “BBM” is Delightfully Terrible (Listen & Download)

  Posted by Nathan S. on 06/21/11 |
Filed under Downloads, RefinedHate, Jim Jones

There's two kinds of terrible. "I wish this never existed" terrible, and "you've got to hear how terrible this is" terrible. Jim Jones' "BBM" is so terrivble I had to share. In addiiton to the lyrical excellence above, some dude named either Hardluck or HIM (I don't know) delivers one of the worst verses I've ever heard on the third verse. Raekwon, Ghostface & Jim Jones Blast Some “Rock N’ Roll” (Listen)

From the days Run-DMC and Steven Tyler were screaming at each other on Walk This Way to B.o.B.’s influences on Airplanes, hip-hop and rock n’ roll have circled each other warily for years. Leave it to Wu-Tang legend Raekwon to bring the two genres together yet again on his new possibly-maybe-a-future-single titled, you guessed it, Rock N Roll. Listen and download...See more...

Swizz Beatz,  Maino, Jim Jones, Jadakiss & Joell Ortiz “Keep It Rockin’” (Listen & Download)

Monster Mondays? Monsta Mondays? Monsta Mondayz? I Don't Really Give a Fuck Days? Whatever you want to call Swizz Beatz' weekly series, there's no denying that the man has been making some noise, and not all of it has been terrible (See "King Tut"). This new "We Keep It Rockin" joint though? This makes me a little queasy. Listen and download...See more...

Who Wants to Talk Sh*t About This Jim Jones “Perfect Day”? (Listen & Comment)

  Posted by Nathan S. on 12/01/10 |
Filed under Top Stories, Jim Jones, Terribleness, Juelz Santana

As I've written before, I post new tracks for one of two reasons, they're dope, or they provide some nice comic material. While I don't think "Shades" will ever be topped in the latter department, the unintentional comedy gods dropped off an early Christmas present today in the form of Jim Jones' new song, "Perfect Day". I'm not saying it's bad, it just kind of makes me wish I was that deaf kid from "Mr. Holland's Opus". Listen and download...See more...

Ski Beatz, Jim Jones & Curren$y “Go” Hard (Listen & Download)

As even a casual hip-hop fans know, the chances of an album actually coming out on its original release date are about as good as Lindsay Lohan passing a drug test. So while it’s not shocking that we had to wait for Ski Beatz highly anticipated album 24 Hour Karate School, a year long delay is remarkable (not Detox-remarkable, but still). Just when you thought the beef game was dead and buried, the last few months have seen more beef being carved up than a Benihanna. (And no, I'm not even counting Nick Cannon's ridiculousness as beef.) Seemingly out of nowhere, Diplomats and once again BFFs Cam'ron and Jim Jones decided to start firing shots at Kanye over his "Runaway" instrumental. Um....ok. Listen and download...See more...
