Young Scolla Grows “Apart” (Listen & Download)

When it was revealed that My City representative Young Scolla's previous effort, the dope "Stare", didn't end up on his upcoming "Tears & Triumph" album we were left wondering how good a record had to actually be to make the final cut. Well, we'll still have to wait to find out because today his new, smooth single "Apart", a r&b-hemmed joint produced by Rodney Hazard, whom RefinedHype nation knows as half of "God's Favorites" and "Marvelous World of Color", and TEP Tracks of The Xtraordinary Gentlemen, didn't make it either. "Apart is that rare joint that has widespread appeal without losing it's real hip-hop roots.

As long as we're on the topic, long distance relationships never last. Never. Anyway, "Tears & Triumph" is due to drop before "Detox" (a.k.a. before the end of times). Keep it locked for more details.
