Thanks to his "All Gold Everything" music video, Atlanta artist Trinidad James has become somewhat of a rap caricature with most people quick to label the rapper off of his image and single alone. While James has been interviewed numerous times before, he seemed most candid in this recent interview with Nardwuar and you really get a good feel for his personality.

In what's sure to be one of many South By Southwest interviews, Nardwuar chopped it up with James who spoke on his birthplace of Trinidad, revealed what the strippers at Onyx' favorite Waffle House meal is, and even gifted Nardwuar with an original copy of his "Don't Be S.A.F.E." mixtape. Oh, and lookout for an unexpected cameo from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
