Trae The Truth’s “Marvin’s Room” Remix Might Just be “The Whisper Song” Sequel (Listen &Download)

I'm sure we've all heard the Ying Yang Twins' extremely classy "Wait (The Whisper Song)" well I think Texas rapper Trae The Truth may have been attempting to channel that song when he recorded his "Marvin's Room" remix. Trae already has a very raspy voice, but he took that raspyness to a whole 'nother whispery level on this song. While listening to the remix I felt like I was being told some terrifying ghost story instead of a rapper speaking on women woes.

Trae isn't a bad a rapper I just feel that he may have possibly fell victim to the "Remix Curse." If you release a remix to a song a month or so after the original was released then you're setting yourself up for disaster my friend. By that time we've already heard a million remixes that range from awful to surprisingly impressive. So if it's been over a month just leave it alone.
