Throwback Thursday: Naughty by Nature “OPP” (Video)

Posted by Nathan S. on 01/07/10 | Filed under Top Stories, Videos, Throwback Thursday, Naughty by Nature

If only Tiger Woods spent more time listening to Naughty by Nature he probably wouldn't be in this mess. So for all od you other cheaters out there, I thought we'd go back to some "OPP" for this week's Throwback Thursday. You down with OPP?

The Refined Take:

1) I was in fourth grade when this track dropped, and although me and all my friends pretended like we knew what OPP stood for we had no idea. I was a pretty wise fourth grader, but there was no way I was coming up with "Other People's Pussy" on my own. I probably thought the P stood for "pizza". Of course as an adult the OPP's subject matter is evident from the opening frame when that guy in the suit takes off his wedding ring.

2) If this video teaches us anything, besides how to cheat, it's that people in the early '90s loved neon track suits. Loved them. Couldn't get enough.

3) I know that for the ladies it's something different, but Other People's Penis just doesn't have the same ring. I'm guessing they'd prefer something more like OPC, or maybe even OPW. And if you don't know what the C or W stand for there, I'm not explaining.

4) This video actually holds up pretty well today, minus the rotary phone. They may as well be using a telegraph.

5) So what happened to Naughty by Nature? They seemed to just slowly disappear. In actuality the group started fueding over finances (mo money, mo problems) and broke up in 1999. Crazy how cash can break up even the best friends.
