Usually when I get a video that’s described as “street” that’s code for “really, really cheap”, but the new video from Sha Stimuli is the perfect example of how to do a video that’s street while still maintaining quality. Also featuring the always ill Freeway, the video for “Move Back” is a great introduction to the world of Sha Stimuli. Check it out:
The Refined Take:
1) If this is your first introduction to Sha Stimuli, welcome. The man’s definitely an up-and-comer, able to spit hard verses and comedic punchlines (“I talk in third person like Elmo”) with equal skill.
2) I haven’t seen the four wheeler action since DMX’s classic “Stop, Drop” video. Good to see ‘em back (and that two wheel motion is crazy).
3) Freeway’s voice just might be the definition of grimy. Plus his beard game is always on point. This is another good look for Free.
4) My favorite part of the video? When that little kid wilds out in the last few seconds. Damn that youngster’s going hard.
