Hailing from at various times Tucson, Arizona, El Paso, Texas and Chicago, Illinois, Gregory “Savant” Daggett has always possessed a passion for music, but it wasn’t until the age of 12 that he turned that passion towards hip-hop. Well, the man may have gotten a late start (relatively speaking), but his craft is finely honed now, as evidences on his debut release “The Delayed Entry EP.” A work that remains integral to Savant’s artistic vision throughout, “Delayed Entry” is the work of one of the game’s most promising young lyricists.
In other words, to quote the immortal Biggie Smalls, if you don’t know, now you know.
