Royce Da 5’9 & Travis Barker Fall Victim To Awkward Production On “Legendary” (Stream)

There's no questioning Royce Da 5'9's lyrical talent, but the guy might wanna wisen up when it comes to choosing the production for his projects. He goes in lyrically on "Legendary," a track on his upcoming album "Success Is Certain," but the production for the song just seemed all wrong. I thought it was an issue of personal taste at first, but as I listen to the song more and more I feel like Royce's flow doesn't even match the beat. It just doesn't seem to fit.

Minus the production "Legendary" is easily a hot song. I didn't even mind the Travis Barker hook. I'm sure "Success Is Certain" will have some serious bangers on it, but this one just wasn't working for me. "Success Is Certain" will be released on August 9th of this year.
