Praise the Lord, Rittz has Dropped His “White Jesus” Mixtape (Listen & Download)

We can have an honest and intelligent discussion about race and hip-hop, can't we? The times are changing, but for now white rappers are always viewed, at least initially, with suspicion. The only way a white rapper can overcome that suspicion is to be totally and completely himself. If it looks like they're even remotely trying to copy a black rapper, they're dead. That's why Eminem made it, that's why Yelawolf made it and that's why Rittz might just make it. Lord knows no one else looks like him, and on one else is putting out mixtapes like "White Jesus".

Joining Rittz throughout the set are Big K.R.I.T., Shawty Fatt, 8Ball and label boss Yelawolf (also the set’s Executive Producer). Beats come courtesy of DJ Burn One, J-Plymp, Skapezilla and Supa Hot Beats. It's not for everyone, but if you're in the mood for some Southern bangers, you came to the right place.

E. Jaffe	Super dope mixtape. Burn One knows talent when he sees it. The only track I wasn't feeling was 'Rattle Back' which was just okay (although it may grow on me. Rittz's flow was crazy). Well-worth the download.

Young Mo Fo	I liked the mixtape, I just wish more rappers start using BandCamp so I can get my FLAC files. I been getting addicted to the sound quality, especially since I pay more attention to things now. This dude sounds to me like a little bit of YelaWolf influence but mostly his own style. He knows which beats suit him too, which is always a plus for any rapper. Good music.

Nathan S.	^ While he's definitely got that Yelawolf influence (Yela did executive produce the album) Rittz is a man of his own. Really digging this project, we might be onto something here.
