Now, normally when a singer raps on a track it's border-line atrocious, but there's something about Rihanna's combination of singing and rapping on "Pour It Up" that's pretty darn enjoyable. No, Rihanna isn't on the fast-track to becoming the next Jay-Z/Missy Elliott hybrid but she's certainly got a knack for swagger rapping. Unlike fellow songster Chris Brown, who I'm about 98% sure thinks he's the equivalent of Nas when he raps on a track, Rihanna's sing-songy rapping doesn't across as too forced or contrived.

With production from "Bandz" beatsmith Mike WiLL Made It and numerous mentions of throwing money up, "Pour It Up" is unmistakably geared towards the strip club crowd. Production-wise the record comes across as more of a "Bandz A Make Her Dance" Light, it's almost as if the beat is building up to something that never quite arrives. Still, I'm sure the ladies at King Of Diamonds and Magic City will be pretty pleased with this one.
