Rapsody Brings It Back on “Replay” Mixtape (Listen & Download)

With Nicki Minaj dominating 99% of the media's attention it's easy to feel like she's the only female emcee in the game, which is absolutely fucking ridiculous. (I admit I'm guilty of Minaj coverage too). With that in mind I thought I'd take a moment to highlight someone who's not only one of my favorite femcees working mics right now, but one of my favorite young rappers period: Rapsody. A North Carolina native who's part of Kooley High and one of 9th Wonder's proteges, Rapsody's got undeniable lyrical skills with a dynamic delivery to match.

Thankfully you don't just have to take my word for it. As she prepared to drop a new mixtape and a debut album Rapsody has dropped "Replay", a retrospective mixtape featuring her best solo and feature work over the last few years. Featuring a plethora of 9th Wonder production (of course) as well as verses from Skyzoo, Big Remo and more, if you don't know, now you know.
