Phil Ade Drops Dope, Misleadingly Titled “OMG” (Listen & Download)

His name might not be familiar to many outside of the DMV, but consummate wordsmith Phil Ade easily gets my vote for one of the most entertaining young lyricist working today. Only a couple weeks past dropping the dope "Hollywood (Remix)", Ade's back at it with the release of his incredibly misleadingly titled new track "OMG". No, this isn't that "OMG", or this one. Instead of texting, the track gets its title from the use of a "Baby Got Back"s legendary intro sample.

Valley girl slang aside, "OMG" is truly notable for the amount of memorably lines Ade works in. He's a quick sampling:

"History channel rapper, all I do is move past."
"I can't leave the game...Brett Farve."
"Check the blog, I'm all up in the post like K. Malone."

The track also features Mr. Yearly Rap Up Skillz, who frankly gets outshined by Phil, and is set to be come off his upcoming mixtape "The Letterman", dropping on the mothership July 6.
