What, you thought you were done with El Senor Wacka Flocka de En Fuego? Guess again. Just as the insanity surrounding his breakthrough single was dying down, today we got hit with the remix, and the comic potential in a Wacka, Diddy and Rick Ross is just to great to ignore. "O Let's Do It".
The Refined Take:
1) Damn, Diddy's verse is actually pretty good, and that can only mean one thing. Yep, that's right - ghostwriters. Since we all know Diddy's not good enough to come up with a line like ""I don't fuck with lame hos/All I touch is J. Los/", who did? While I have yet to receive an absolute confirmation, Vibe is reporting that the verse is a combination of lines from Ricky Ross himself and a lesser known rapper named Aasim.
2) Bit of a side note, but it really bothers me that this song is titled "O Let's Do It" when Wacka himself never bothers with the "t" and "s" in "let's". Let's not pretend like there's some enunciation going on here. From now on I'm referring to this track as "O Le Do It" and no one's convincing me otherwise.
3) Given that this video's essentially an extended commercial for Ciroc, I'm assuming Diddy really called the shots on this video.
Diddy: "So here's the plan. In this next seen Wocka, you hold up a bottle of Ciroc, and then we cut to a shot of some chicks dancing with Ciroc, and then back to Wocka, who says "I love Ciroc and Diddy is a genius. I'm not even worthy to look him in the eyes."
Wacka: "Yes sir."
4) Does Rick Ross look like a black bear in this video? Let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if he started scratching his back on a tree and then waded into a river to catch salmon.
5) Oh yeah, Wacka Flocka. Well, he's definitely in the video. Yep, there is is. And, um...
