Only posting underground rap just because it's underground rap is just as wack as only posting mainstream rap just because it's mainstream rap. I try to have RefinedHype cover the full range of dopeness (and ridiculousness), no matter when it comes from.

So while Iowa might not exactly be known as an epicenter of dope rap, this nuLOVE "Riki-Oh" joint still deserves a moment of hype. Comprised of Jharee (the producer) and Boycott (the rapper), for "Riki-Oh" the duo also bring on the previously featured Wally Left, Freakmite and Deon for some serious head nodding.

Nothing complicated here, just some quality hip-hop from a group you (probably) hadn't heard from until now. Mission accomplished. And if you're feeling nuLOVE keep an ear out for their upcoming "Equinox Vol. 3" album, due out December 17.
